Albert is a performance dub-poet. He started fusing his written poems with music so as to blow life into them, to blow life into dead words. He has performed in many countries throughout the world and has released 4 CDs, his most recent recorded live in Durban, the UK and Zimbabwe, titled The World As We Dance Along. Albert won the Zimbabwe National Poetry Award in 1995 and his collections, Echoes from the Kraal and Echoes from Zimbabwe, were published in 2001 and 2010.
