Deon Marcus

Deon was born in Bulawayo in 1978. He has studied Accounting Science, Classical Studies and Ancient History, as well as piano and viola. Deon has had poems published in the three anthologies of Short Writings from Bulawayo and in Long Time Coming and his collection of poetry, Sonatas, won a National Arts Merit Award as well as the 2005 Zimbabwe Book Publishers Association Award for best poetry or drama.
